Also known as Heavenly Moxibustion, it is a time-honored healing tradition dating back to the Qing Dynasty, practiced during the hottest days of summer when Yang energy reaches its fullest expression. Guided by the rhythms of the Chinese calendar and Daoist cosmology, this seasonal therapy embraces the wisdom that the warmth of summer can be used to transform the illnesses of winter.
